Support Policy 

Thank you for shopping at Mastodon Marketplace. 

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on returns and cancellations. 

The following terms are applicable for any products and services that You purchased with Us. 

Mastodon Return Policy 

Returns is a scheme provided by respective sellers directly under this policy in terms of which the option of exchange, replacement and/ or refund is offered by the respective sellers to you.  

If a seller has a return policy in their marketplace, the seller's policy will take precedence for any items supplied by the seller. If the seller does not have a returns policy listed the general returns policy below is used. 

General Return Policy 

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that: 

The Goods were purchased in the last 14 days 

The Goods are in the original packaging 

The following Goods cannot be returned: 

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized. 

  • The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over. 

  • The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery. 

  • The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items. 

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion. 

Defective Product Refund 

If a product is defective a refund is possible. 

If a seller has a defective product refund policy in their marketplace, the seller's policy will take precedence for any items supplied by the seller. If the seller does not have a defective product refund policy listed the general defective refund policy below is used. 

General Mastodon Defective Product Refund Policy 

A full refund will provided by Mastodon and the Seller on any product which is shown by the customer to be defective. A product will be accepted as defective if: 

  • It fails from the date of delivery to function as described in it’s specifications. 

  • If at the time of delivery, it is found to be damaged.  

Cancellation Policy 

For non-tangible items such as roadside assistance agreements and insurances, arbitrary customer cancellation or a service may be possible depending on the seller. If the seller has a cancellation policy in their marketplace, it will take precedence over the General Mastodon Cancellation Policy 

General Mastodon Cancellation Policy 

You can cancel services provided to you through the Mastodon Marketplace 

Service polices can be cancelled on a pro rata basis e.g. If you have a 12 month service policy, you can cancel the policy after 3 months and you will be refunded for 9 months minus an administration fee which will be 20% of the service fee.
